Savannah's Underground Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk

In consideration of being allowed to participate in activities sponsored by Savannah's Underground, I hereby understand and agree to this release of liability and assumption of risk, and to the terms hereof as follows:

I understand that attendance at Savannah's Underground meetings and events is open only to people over the age of 21 and I certify that I am at least 21 years old.

I understand that subject matter concerns the practice of consensual bondage and discipline, power exchange, sadomasochism, homosexuality, fetishism, and other related sexual activities between consenting adults. The umbrella term for these practices is BDSM. Bondage Discipline Sadism Masochism.

I state and agree that I find none of these subjects stated above or activities offensive or objectionable. I wish to be a member of Savannah's Underground for the purpose of learning more about these subjects, including safety issues relating to BDSM and the ethical values of the BDSM community, and to socialize with others who have these subjects in genuine interest. I recognize that in order to teach the subject matter effectively, some of the events sponsored by Savannah's Underground may involve nudity or may be sexually explicit. I consent to the explicit nature of such events and certify that this does not make them offensive or objectionable to me.

I recognize that BDSM and the related activities described above carry inherent risks. I assume the risk of physical and emotional injury resulting from my participation in events or activities sponsored by Savannah’s Underground, and I waive any claim to liability that might arise against Savannah’s Underground, or its leaders, volunteers, or members from my participation or from my use of information or techniques learned at such meetings, events, or gatherings.

I agree to participate with the group under the rules conveyed to me at orientation by Savannah’s Underground. I understand that failure to follow these rules is grounds for disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion.

I am not working for or on behalf of any law enforcement, news gathering, news reporting, or other media organization including social media when attending any Savannah’s Underground event, activity, or gathering.

I agree to NOT bring any recording device into any meeting, program, or gathering sponsored by Savannah’s Underground unless specifically authorized in advance by the Leaders of the group.

I hereby agree to not disclose any personal information about Savannah’s Underground as a group, or about individual members of the organization, to any person, group, or organization of Savannah’s Underground without leader approval or approval of the individual within the group. I understand that such disclosure can lead to disciplinary action, up to and including summary expulsion from the group without refund of any paid monies that have been collected, as well as other legal remedies to recover any damages that may incur from such disclosure.

I understand that the above statements hold true for any and all future attendance on my part from this date forward and should this statement become false at any time, I agree to notify leaders of Savannah’s Underground of any such change, and I will disassociate myself with Savannah’s Underground completely prior to the change taking place.

I agree to have a RSO (Registered Sex Offender) and Criminal Background check completed by Savannah’s Underground prior to attending a play party type event. I understand that the result of these checks can be viewed by me at the time of the check if I so choose to view.

Play Party Liability Waiver

In consideration of my participation with Savannah's Underground, (BD/SM event / activity), I hereby release any and all agents from any claims, demands, and causes of action as a result of my voluntary participation and enrollment. I fully understand that I may sustain injuries to myself as a result of my enrollment and subsequent participation and also release Savannah's Underground (a BD/SM event/activity) and its agents from any liability now or in the future for conditions or injuries, which may involve the undersigned including, but not limited to, bodily injury, illness whethere it be mental, emotional, physical including death, property damage or other loss. I understand that each event venue may be different and sometimes nudity will be allowed and sometimes nudity will not be allowed. This for covers all Savannah's Underground events that the undersigned may attend from date of signature below and forward. The undersigned hereby freely, voluntarily, and without duress executes this release under these terms.

I HEARBY AFFIRM THAT I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE STATEMENTS.
